The Finance Department provides support for various cost centers for the City of Greenwood in accordance with the State Law, the Municipal Code, applicable ordinances and the policies of the governing body.
Functional responsibilities include accounting, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, debt management and investments. Accounting functions include accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and general accounting. The department is also responsible for financial reporting including the preparation of financial statements, budgets and audits.
