Trails

The City of Greenwood Parks and Recreation Department is continually improving the quality of life by adding a multi-use trail system to our community.

Currently we have multi-use trails at Greenwood Lake and another that stretches from City Hall to Bell Park.

The City Lake Boat ramp and trail heads are 1.8 miles off of Hwy. 10 on Mt. Harmony Rd.

This lake offers great fishing and kayaking opportunities, as well!

Greenwood Lake ~ East Loop Trail Head

The trail head is currently located at 35.187349, -94.241900.

The East loop will take you on a beautiful 2.7 mile hike, past the historic old Iron Bridge.  After the old Iron Bridge the trail leads to its first Eagle Scout Bridge nestled in a hollow that crossed a creek and wet weather cascade that flows into the Lake.  As the path meanders on to the right it will lead to the newest and largest of the Eagle Scout Bridge additions completed in December of 2020!

The upper East Loop trail extension will lead you back to the original trail and back out to the Mount Harmony entrance and boat ramp area.
